Phil Ivey has been labeled as the number one poker player on the planet by quite a few of the top pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and moved to New Jersey before his first birthday. Ivey credits his success to discipline and a continuing love for the game of poker. Phil says that he is learning every day and is quite humble about his achievements. Phil knows he makes mistakes in each game of poker and constantly strives to improve.

Although Ivey has won some big-time tournaments, he prefers destroying money games on a normal basis.
